Volunteering Opportunities

Registration/Packet Pick-Up

Volunteers will assist in registering new participants and handing out bibs and packets to all participants.

  • Saturday (Race Day) April 22, 2017; 6:30 am – 8:30 am, San Joaquin County Fairgrounds (1658 S. Airport Way, Stockton, CA 95206)

Event Set-Up

Volunteers will assist with various needs including setting up and/or tearing down tents, tables, signs etc. before, during or after the race.  Carrying, lifting, reaching and bending may be needed. Attention to safety is a must.

Post-Race Food and Beverage Area

Volunteers will assist with setting up the food/drink area, slicing fruit, bagels, etc., setting out, replenishing and serving food to finishers only.  Volunteers will assist with flow control, portion management, breakdown and cleanup of the food/drink area.  Volunteers will assist in passing out finisher medals.  Assertiveness and great customer service skills are a must.

All volunteers are required to pre-register.  Walk-up volunteers will not be taken on race day.
